Dana AlHaddad is a recreation professional with 17 years of experience in local government. Dana began her career in the City of Santa Clarita as a Recreation Leader and eventually worked her way up to a Recreation Coordinator for the City of West Hollywood.
Dana has experience overseeing a variety of recreation programs such as Day Camp, Teen Center, Farmers’ Market, Tennis and youth enrichment programs. She leads the Youth Halloween event committee and other various recreation events throughout the year. In addition, Dana oversees the facility reservations and park operations at Plummer Park.
She coordinates the Division’s marketing strategy, overseeing the Rec Reader (seasonal recreation brochure) and social media. Dana oversees the Division’s annual summer staff recruitment, group interview, and onboarding and is passionate about building a team of enthusiastic recreation professionals.
Dana has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University, Bakersfield in Communications/Public Relations and a Master's Degree from California State University, Northridge in Public Administration.
