Jamie R. Bennett, MS., MTRS, CTRS is an Instructor (Lecturer) and Clinical Education Coordinator for the Recreational Therapy program in the Department of Occupational and Recreational Therapies at the University of Utah. The foundations of her clinical experience are rooted in mental health but has experience in working with individuals in substance abuse, adaptive recreation, hospice care, long-term care facilities, schools, and various community-based settings. Her research and passion for the profession encompass the ideas of the utilization of Recreational Therapy for wellness and preventative health – with a focus on mental and emotional wellness. Jamie is a past president of URTA and member of the NCTRC Board of Directors.
