Jessica Geiszler serves as Marketing & Public Outreach Manager for the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation. As such, she oversees marketing, public relations, media relations, social media, sponsorships, graphics and videos – and co-leads the Women in the Wild program – for an award-winning agency and network of 156 parks and preserves. Previous roles include Communication Supervisor with City of Carlsbad, Content Manager and Project and Event Manager at Sony Electronics, and Sr. Communications and Public Affairs Specialist with Solar Turbines. Geiszler holds a Master of Arts degree in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, emphasis in Public Relations, from San Diego State University, along with an Event Management Certification from the University of San Diego. When not working she enjoys hiking, reading, writing and hosting events.
