    Jessica Cissel serves as a Region Manager for the County of San Diego Department of Parks and Recreation. She oversees park operations for the county’s North Coast Region parks, manages the ranger academy, leads the Department’s customer experience initiative, – and co-leads the Women in the Wild program – for an award-winning agency and network of 156 parks and preserves. Previous roles include Recreation Superintendent and Recreation Supervisor for the City of National City as well as Recreation Coordinator for the City of Manassas Park. Cissel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation Studies from James Madison University and is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, hiking, the beach, live music, and spending time with her son, Fox.
