Emeline Noda has served in the field of parks and recreation for 20+ years with full-time experience in the cities of Los Alamitos (15 years) and La Mirada (5 years). She began her part-time career in the cities of La Palma and Fullerton. Her specialties are in event management, youth programming, contract classes, marketing and graphic design/photography, senior services, facility management, and sponsorships. Emeline is involved in the California Park and Recreation Society as a past member of the District 10 Board, participant in the annual Mentoring Program, past conference presenter, and helped to establish the SoCal Senior Symposium Training Series for professionals working in the aging field. She was also a former part-time lecturer for the Recreation & Leisure Studies Department at California State University, Long Beach and recently instrumental in the formation of the new Los Alamitos Community Foundation.
