Every day is an absolute pleasure for Wilhelmina "Wilhe" Augustine serving the City of Temecula as the Community Services Coordinator in the Special Events Division. After obtaining her BA in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations/Advertising from Biola University, she began her career with Temecula in 2004 as a Recreation Leader organizing a summer youth program known as SMART and shortly after, Wilhe joined the staff at the Temecula Skate Park. Her passion for recreation wasn’t truly fulfilled until she became a part of the Special Events Team in 2007. Even when she took time off from the workforce to focus on her amazing family, she still volunteered for the City every chance offered. Some of the signature special events Wilhe has the privilege of coordinating each year include the Temecula Rod Run, 4th of July Extravaganza, Santa’s Electric Light Parade, and Temecula CultureFest.
