Katrina Thoreson has been with the City of Temecula for eight years and is currently part of the Community Services Department’s Outreach & Communications Team. She originally began working at the Temecula Valley Museum and the transitioned to the Contract Classes Division mastering communications and branding initiatives for Temecula's award-winning Guide To Leisure Activities, brochures, flyers, and social media presence. Overseeing social media, print, and electronic marketing allows Katrina to utilize her creativity and graphic design skills. Katrina's MA is from the University of San Diego and she has a background in writing, as well as Web Design. Katrina’s creativity, innovation, and art direction earned a CPRS Award of Excellence in Marketing & Communication for Temecula’s Arts & Culture Guide Map in 2022.
