Recreation Coordinator II

I'm currently a Recreation Coordinator II for the City of Folsom Parks & Recreation Department in the Sports Division in charge of our youth development consisiting of contracted classes, camps and in-house leagues.I have been with Folsom for almost four years following three years at a previous agency in the Community Services Department overseeing adult sports, special events and their mobile recreation van (Rec2Go). I am currently a board member of District 2 as the Advocacy (A-Team) Representative in addition to the Youth Sports Collaborative organizer for District 2. I am a previous board member of District 2's Youth and Teen Recreation Services group where I held the title of Youth Services Representative.
In my free time I help give back to the community by coaching young athletes in recreational and competive softball. I am very passionate about mentoring and helping our youth to find a positive path through life. As a person that needed a village to raise me I feel it's my duty to pay that forward. Being involved in Parks and Recreation and CPRS allows me the opportunity to persue a career where my impact is felt within my community and surrounding areas.
