Jill S. Thomsen has worked for the Culver City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department for 16 years and currently serves as the Aging Section chair for CPRS District 9. She has presented at CPRS 2019 & 2020 and both the CPRS NorCal & SoCal Senior Symposiums, the West Coast regional Retired & Senior Volunteer Program conference, the national American Society on Aging conference and the national Conference on Volunteering and Service. Thomsen graduated from California State University, Long Beach and is also a long-standing docent for the Los Angeles Conservancy, giving monthly 2 1/2 hour tours of historic Union Station for school and adult groups.
