Riva Ballis (she/her/hers) is the Recreation Coordinator for preschool, adult and senior programs for Mission Oaks Recreation & Park District. She majored in Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior at UC Davis and worked in emergency departments and neuroscience research labs before transitioning to a career in recreation. She currently serves as the President of YTRS and Aging & Activities Section Representative for CPRS District 2. She also loves animals and when she is not working, she loves traveling to visit zoos around the country.
