Adriana has worked in local government for 18 years and counting. In early 2021 she became an Emergency Manager for the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks playing an integral roll in the COVID-19 pandemic response. She is responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing comprehensive emergency programs for the Recration and Parks Department. Adriana has been a part of various mass care activations sheltering hundreds of displaced Angelinos. In the short time in her new position she has trained and exercised senior leadership, their staff and the Department Operations Center responders. Through her career she has built a track record for her effectiveness and team player attitude.
