    Cindy Mendoza (CPRP) is a Principal and Director of Park + Recreation Planning at MIG, Inc. As an equity advocate and member of the CPRS JEDI Counsel, Cindy collaborates with cities, counties, and park districts to create vibrant park systems that support park access, health and wellness, play for all, connections to nature, and placemaking. She brings 25+ years of experience in community involvement, planning and design. She also holds an M.A. in Geography, is a former SCORP University instructor, is an invited speaker at national and state conferences, and has co-authored several articles, chapters, and reports, including the CPRS California Action Plan: Guiding the Park & Recreation Profession.
