Marni Goldenberg has worked at Cal Poly since 2003 as a professor in the Experience Industry Management Department. She teaches Introduction to the Field, Leadership and Diverse Groups, Outdoor and Adventure Leadership, Challenge Course Facilitation, and Experience Design Planning. Her research interests include outdoor and adventure leadership, motivation, and benefits and have focused on the Pacific Crest Trail, wildnerness participation, and non-profit work.
