Through interactive exercises, the National Conflict Resolution Center will teach frontline staff the best practices for managing upset individuals in the park and recreation setting. Join us to build off of what was discussed during the keynote presentation on Wednesday morning.
Learning Objectives:
How to tell agitated members of the public information that they don't always want to hear.
How to understand what the anger means to the person presenting it.
What the benefit of connecting with upset individuals is to the employee as well as the department.
