    Session Description:

    Join me and learn how to host the ultimate summer recruitment! I will cover multiple elements of a summer recruitment, beginning with strategic planning and ending with onboarding. In this session, you will learn some innovative and creative ways to recruit Rec Stars needed for summer; including Day Camp, events, and facility coverage. You will also learn how to prepare and facilitate a mass group interview, with activities that highlight leadership, creativity & teamwork. Lastly, you will learn about a successful onboarding process that will motivate and encourage new staff leaving them excited to begin their rec careers.  

    Learning Objectives:

    • Upon completion, participants will be able to develop a strategic plan for a mass summer recruitment.
    • Upon completion, participants will be able to facilitate a group interview for at least 50 candidates.
    • Upon completion, participants will be able to create a comprehensive onboarding process to maintain a high retention rate, job satisfaction, and employee performance.
