Session Description: Along with the day to day responsibilities of Parks Maintenance professionals, you are also expected to respond to big and small emergencies. How can you get your long term projects done? This interactive, informative, and engaging session will provide Parks Maintenance professionals with the tools and techniques to develop, implement, and maintain an effective ten-year Capital Improvement Program - and get it done!
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify and overcome challenges in determining their organization's Ten- Year Capital Improvement Program's goals and objectives
Upon completion, participants will be able to establish criteria for prioritizing projects, identify funding sources and resource allocation guidelines, and create an Annual (Matching/Non-Matching) Grant Program to enhance productivity and encourage community participation
Upon completion, participants will be able to make recommendations for presentation to their respective organizations on the development and implementation of the Ten-Year Capital Improvement Program and appropriate next steps for individual project completion.
